LONG OVERDUE POST ABOUT ORA
ORA was fun! And after an hour of mindless blog hopping today, I am convinced that the sales of the squash booth was greatly elevated by Sophia and Tianyi's antagonizing shrieks of "HI DO YOU WANT TO BUY JEWELRY FOR YOUR GIRLFRIENDS, BOYFRIENDS OR YOURSELF?" So far I have read 3 blogs that commented on them. And I experienced that 3 times, and I'm FROM squash.

Anyhow, 209 was the best, seriously. I've never had such a bond with anybody or any organization ever before, and I really love them lots for that. I know if i blog in detail it's going to be boring and embroiled into a rant about why the PE department totally makes my day and a whole lot of angry, angry words, so I will cast that behind me and say that I just love 209'05 very very much.
Potatoes totally rocked, by the way. And a big thanks to those who bought from the 209 stall albeit our very pathetic begs to, I'm glad you all obliged in the end. But those who blatantly refused, then sucks to you :D

Our luffly banner that was done in like, 10 minutes.

Kidding, okay, kidding!

Anyway, I have decided that I want to immortalize ORA day with the niners, so I shall blog about it. Since it is boring and (relatively) picture-less, I will LJ cut it :D

The day started off with me lugging 34 class T-shirts and 9 tubs of cornflake cookies to school ; the things i willingly do for 209, seriously. But thank goodness my Dad sent me there so all was okay. By the way, I feel a need to show off the shirt that Flora painstakingly designed and I equally painstakingly got to the printer.

You know you are jealous.

It was a crazy rush to get the shirt approved in the morning so that we could wear it and a certain someone didn't want to approve it because it wasn't "timely" so we went off to find more reasonable people and people who actually care for the well-being of the students (what's left of them, anyway) so we ran around to look for Ms Ong and it got approved right after 9 o'clock. Some teachers really make the stay in RGS nice and all worth it despite the many tribulations our journey is plagued with.

So basically, all I did was walk around and desperately try to sell more drinks, cookies and potatoes to people who were evidently reluctant to part with their money but the whole process was kind of fun, in a very screwed up kind of way. But in the end we managed to sell many many things and earned about $300+ which brought our profit to $100+. Comparatively not a lot due to the oversight of many, (way! too many cans of tuna!) but it was a good effort, and we had fun (despite the stress, Weiting would know) and 100% of the proceeds go to charity so it's all rather worth it in the end.

After ORA, Eileen and I marched off to Plaza Singapura for Karl's Junior (FREE salsa and FREE FLOW of drinks) lugging an oven, 2 very wet bags and a very large jar of mayonnaise. We sat down and ate the remaining potatoes (they taste really good with salsa on the top :D) and garnered weird stares from random passers-by but we are cool like that and we ate more potatoes in the MRT station on the way home. And managed not to make a mess so SMRT please forgive us we were hungry (:

Anyway, I just want to say to all the niners out there reading this (albeit few but still.), I really love you all muchly! And though we may be in different classes now please don't forget that we were all once (and are) part of this wonderful legacy and I'll still love you all manymany! :D

This is wayyy nostalgic.

Anyway, my school day today was uneventful since the conclusion of the MYAs ultimately meant an onslaught of work, terrible work and many essentially boring and useless subjects which I take pleasure in sleeping throughout (no points for guessing which). Its not that I don't try, its just that sleeping would be a more productive alternative? And seriously, I'm all about the productivity.

Really, I am.

But there's something you need to know about me.
I lie.
